The process and language of profitability
We are finally getting some great news about vaccines and a timeline to when this horrible pandemic is coming to an end. This means that many start ups can start their business plans, start looking at retail locations (if applicable) and start their financing discussions. This also means that existing businesses, whom are still really struggling can start a long term plan to recover their 2020 and early 2021 losses or loan repayment strategies. I have created a 5 class series that can help all business owners become more profitable. I am attaching the first class presentation in this blog as some food for thought for small business owners, especially in restaurants, hospitality or retail to hopefully spark some ideas and help support a way back to 2019 profitability. I believe that once the summer comes around in 2021, consumer spending will be at an all-time high and people will be desperate to dine out, shop in person, and travel extensively. As a small business operator, the next 4-6 months, although still potentially painful, can allow you the time to fine tune your people, refine your costs, perfect your execution and be in a great position for a robust marketing and promotions spend come the summer.
